August 6, 200422 yr nope...not an expensive bannana....a decently priced fast car....would rather have a 76....bored out, dual straight pipes (no cats), headers, RAM-air induction....yah that's nice...real nice.
August 7, 200422 yr Sports cars look awesome in yellow. Hummer H2s look like school buses in yellow. Also, Furman, why get a 1976? That's a terrible year for the Vette because that's smack dab in the middle of the fuel crisis. Better off with one from 1964.
August 7, 200422 yr Some cars look nice in yellow. One inexpensive car that I can recall that looks nice in yellow is the Lancer Evolution.

Better off with one from 1964. 499492[/snapback] 1976 is a little bit (no a LOT bit) cheaper than a 64....and I like the 75-76 Stingray body better than the 60s corvettes. Plus, my dad has a 76 Corvette. It's pushin 475 HP, and I think he's thinkin about supercharging it. It's the small block, but it's bored out, with headers and straight dual exhaust (took the catalytic converters off...it's technically illegal, but the 76 is the 1st year they put cats in the exhaust, and no cop will tell the difference (or know why to tell the difference) between a 75 and a 76 corvette), and a fully-functional RAM-air induction (no, not put in for show). The RAM-air was custom built by molding two different Corvette hood scoops (I believe it was molded using an early 90s corvette hood, and an early 70s hood), and the rear end is custom made, using an 80s corvette end (to give it it's own unique look). Slap on a pearled emerald green paint job, and MP3 player, and a Z-06 suspension, and you've got one HELLUVA car. Like I said, it's about 475 HP right now, and buying the car, and paying for parts and some work (my dad did a lot, but some stuff he needed professional help...fortunately my grandad was a mechanic at a Chevy dealership, so my dad's made some friends)...it's probably about 16,000. Total. And people spend that sh*t on Honda Civics. Tools.
August 7, 200422 yr he plans on taking it to Bithlo (East of Orlando) at the tracks there. We were gonna go a couple weeks ago (it's only been out of the shop for about 3 weeks), but it rained. Right now he's working on the gauges, so it isn't really able to be driven. He actually wants to find his quarter-mile without slicks. He's really good friends with a guy who's father is a prominent dealership owner in Orlando...and the guy has a couple old corvettes (I think a 75 and something else...ive only seen the 70s vette), and he races it over there...he's got slicks. Yah, my dad plans on bringin it out there "once everything is perfect".
