ESPN HAS FAITH IN THE MARLINS

Featured Replies

rob dibble, espn baseball tonight analyst said the marlins are not done... said trade went well and that we are just too good to lose, and can be back in it with a good series.

now, i know we all knew this, but its nice to finally get some support.

5.5 out - not done. keep fighting.

ESPN has more faith than some on this site thankfully.

i know like miri hes a phillies fan and a yankee fan i want to do this to him :chair :guillotine

you're gonna get yourself suspended, party.

She's a marlins fan....so she doesn't make ridiculous predictions (like they mean something)....she can still be a Marlins fan.

I can say the Marlins will lose the rest of their games...doesn't mean I'm less of a fan.

Pessimists are able to be fans too, ya know.

Fans don't have to be ridiculously positive all the time.

Am I an above average fan if i say this: "The Marlins will win 25-0 tonite, and Cabrera will hit 6 HRs."?

This coming road trip can either f*** us up, or catapult us in the WC race. If we win all three series, watch out...we're back!

San Diego is going DOWN....

in all seriousness, i think all the marlins need is faith in themselves, and they'll do fine. while they play their hearts out, i think they feel a little defeated.

but who knows, no one here is in that clubhouse... and also, they know they still have a shot. just gotta believe.

Why do I care that ESPN has faith in us? Are they the end all be all when it comes to baseball? No one had faith in us last year except for us and we still won the whole damn thing. I'd rather them keep putting us down because maybe it would motivate us to do well.

First of all, I am a female. I wouldn't have pink and purple stuff in my sig (including Tinker Bell) unless I was a gay man.

Second of all, I hate the Phillies and the Yankees. I am an all Marlins girl!

Third, if you read my post in your thread, you'd see that I do have faith, but I am not ignorant either.

to be honest, it can help the players' confidence seeing espn have some confidence in them.

anything helps.

BELIEVE

When you have pitching like we do it is neever over! :thumbup

Well if it can be consistant. IF beckett can pitch like he did last time and AJ Also, we will be good.

this roadtrip will get us back in it or completely take us out of any race

its up to you marlins ... the pitching has been pretty steady lately but we need those bats to get it going

I wont make any predictions, or say we can do it or blah blah ... its up to the players

Go Marlins

Positive thinking from this forum is not going to get this team in the playoffs.

I think we are most likely out of it, but a miracle could happend.

explanation - they have played like a .500 club all year so I don't have high expectations about this team. I hope they end up a few games over .500

That's all

I'm not negative. I'm realistic based on my observations.

Every game I root 100% and hope we win. But I'm not going to be heart broken if they miss the playoffs.
