So, do we now root for the Braves?

Featured Replies

It doesnt matter - we have to win either way. We really have to try and take the series against the Dodgers. Of course, a sweep would be most beneficial.

But it is a win-win situation IF we win. If the Braves win, we stay on pace and dont lose ground in the NL East standings and gain ground in the WC standings. If Braves lose, then we gain ground in NL East standings and keep on the pace in the WC standings.

We have to win either way. I dont think the Cubs, Pads, or Giants really have a complete enough team to run away with the WC. Philly is struggling and I dont sense much from that team. We are a very dangerous team that has underperformed for most of the year. If we play like we are capable, I dont see either race being out of reach.

I'm gonna root for the Marlins...if we keep winning, we'll win either the division or the wild card.

It's just a matter of how much we have to win.

It'd be nice to catch San Diego, but if you remember how quickly Atlanta jumped out in front of us, you may be able to realize how quickly we could get in striking distance. The NL East isn't won yet.
