MVPosey
Like him or not, you have to respect what he's about to do. He's approaching a momentous milestone, and is getting closer and closer to breaking the most hallowed record in major league baseball. He will probably reach 700 mid-late September Go get 'em Barry! Marlins2k3Champs
We all know if he wasn't juiced up he'd never be where he is at. I have no respect at all for someone reaching such a high milestone in sports that has cheated their way through it.

They should put BALCO's name in the history books, because they're the ones who transformed Barry from a very good leftfielder to a legendary leftfielder. Accord
I'm going to be at all 3 games against the Giants in the upcoming series next week, and i'm not going to those 3 games to watch Barry get walked 4 times a night. I really hope we pitch to him...
Craig
I have to agree with Mr. San Francisco homer here, which i don't normally do. No matter what Bonds is or isn't doing, and like him or not, 700 home runs, 500 plus steals, all those gold gloves, all those MVP's, and everything that Bonds is currently doing at his age is simply amazing. ASS 518640[/snapback] Yep, but he'll never be better than the Babe. He hit more homers than most major league teams did in his time. Barry hasn't come close to that. How about Mark McGuire? Nobody ever criticizes him, even though he openly admitted to juicing and doing creatine, hypocrite . There's two things that really piss me off when it comes to baseball, bandwagon Yankee fans and people that don't shut up with nonsense about Bonds being on steroids. I lost all respct for him when it was revealed he was using Andro during his recordbreaking season. The same goes for any guy who would rather take the easy way out by using steroids or any other performance enhances rather than just actually working hard to get where they are. It's a total slap in the face to the fans, other players who work their asses off, and legends like Hank Aaron. You want proof about Barry's juicing? Barry in 1995 at 31 years old, the age where most males hit their physical peaks and are at the top of their game. 33 HR Barry in 2001 at 37 years old, the age where most males break down physically. 73 HR. Once you pass your physical peak, muscle mass starts breaking down ... you don't add that much muscle without some sort of human growth hormone. Honestly, what would Barry's trainer and long time friend get out of making up these stories? And even if he wasn't juicing, I want no part of rooting for a self important prick like Barry Bonds. The kind of s*** he gets away with from the media because he is who he is would bury any other player. He's run other players out of town, demands the most assinine things, and never goes hard after anything. Oh yeahy, And his nack for turning any situation into a racial problem is positively sickening. I don't see how anyone can root for or respect this guy. Marlins2k3Champs
Barry Bonds is an a**hole period. For those who say he never juiced up come on you got to be kidding me. I got no respect for Bonds or for Big Mac. They cheated their way into the record books which is kind of sorry if you ask me. You just dont start hitting so many home runs when you're almost 40 years old. Bonds being on steroids or muscle enhancements is not nonsense. That is something serious. Let them try hitting all those home runs the natural way just like the Babe did it. And just like Hank Aaron. They wouldn't come close. There is no proof that Bonds is juicing up. But I can bet my life on it he has. Thats why I have no respect for a self centered jerk like Barry Bonds.
El Guapo
personaly i dont like Bonds but what he has done in his career is an awsome feat and he is not even close to being done..its gonna be cool to be sitting around 30 years from now telling my grand kids that i got to this this great player play live the way my old man tells me about koufax,mantle,pele,Ali....i know alot of people think he juiced up but in my opinion he hasnt, and untill it is proven that he cheated ill never think of him as one... Skully
I don't even get why people think Barry is an a**hole. The guy has made himself more than available to the media for years now. I admit he was a jerk at one point, but he is not the same... Even newly acquired Ricky Ledee admitted it. He said that he thought Bonds was an ass until he got to know him. He says he's a great guy and he was even able to tell Bonds what he used to think of him... As for the picture of Bonds in 95 vs 2001... That's 6 friggin YEARS later. You know how much can happen in 6 years??? People who talk all this crap about Bonds don't know anything. All you know is what you read in the Miami Herald or even on ESPN or wherever. I'm not from San Francisco, but I've been a Giants fan all my life, so I've always read local stories on Bonds. The guy has one of the best work ethics in baseball. He works his ass off. If there is any truth to him being an ass, it's because he works so damn hard and people don't want to give him the credit he deserves.... All I know is that I'll be wearing my Giants gear proudly come Tuesday - Thursday cheering for the best player of all time !!

That's not funny man. How would you like someone to wish some disease or death on you... I don't like you anymore. And not just because this is Bonds, but I would never wish that on anyone. Say all you want, but the man refuses to take a test. It isn't just him, don't have respect for anyone that does that. But hes the most notable that does it. BTW, Giants dude, playoff homers don't count. Can't reach it in October. And pitch to Barry! He's going to get out at least 6 out of every 10 anyways, most of the time 7 of every 10. He's a f***ing human.
