There is no reason the Angels would trade for Enc. He has his own problems. Last year he raised a stink about playing time and the players were not all that happy with him. And he does not have a right to complain about playing time figuring how he performs. He is one of the worst performing right fielders in the league, and is paid quite a bit for it, why would any team want that junk?

Let me go with:

Pierre

Castillo

Drew

Cabrera

Lowell

Palmeiro

Aguila/Conine

Willingham

Bench: Dellucci, Cordero, Easley, Harris

Pitching:

Clement

Beckett

Burnett

Willis

Valdez

Pen:

Spooney

Williamson

Mota

Weathers

Howard

Saenz

We go without Benitez, Lo Duca, Pavano, Encarnacion. We probably save 2 or 3 million a season with Clement. Clement and Drew are more or less the equivalent of retaining Pavano and Lo Duca. The additions of Palmeiro, Dellucci, and Williamson are probably a couple milllion less than Benitez and Encarnacion. Palmeiro is due 4 million this season, he will probably fetch between 1 and 2 million for a one year contract in the offseason, as well Dellucci more than likely.

It's a little less than keeping our team this year but I don't know if that still falls out of the range...if a bat is too expensive then:

Sad thing is we won't noticeably improve our offense unless we dish out some serious dough...no way around it

Well thats Beltran's natural position. And Lee would be the every day starter, but since he is a lefty I think they could Play Lo Duca at first when they face lefties, he's played the field plenty so he is used to it. I don't know to me something like this is very realistic and would be within payroll restrictions. Would still be a pretty good team to field with a couple big names to get the attention.

I don't want him on my team. If he hates so much the idea of singing God Bless America in a game in the United States, then he should put his money where his mouth is and also rejet the all mighty dollar and go somewhere else where he does not has to put up with it.

I'm as Puertorrican as he is, and you know what? I've had enough of his anti-USA crap. If he hates the USA as much as he does, then he should just pack up and leave. And that is MY opinion. I'm willing to bet you anything that he will have a very hard time finding a contract.
