October 8, 200422 yr God McCarver is painful to listen to. It's hard to accept a color man who is trys to come across like a nuts and bolts analyist, but who gets more things wrong then right most of the time. Seems like he tries to cover his BS from the average fan by disguising it with more advanced baseball terminology. But the last straw was his 60 second analysis of a "sinker" on yesterday's broadcast. Nevermind it was clocked at 96MPH and was at the eyes of the batter. He's like Gywnn, only annoying, less knowledgable, wrong most of the time and not good.
October 8, 200422 yr they totally suck. i hope al leiter retires soon so they can finally have a good color man in there.
October 8, 200422 yr mccarver called PPS, pro player field. and everytime he predicted something would happen the exact opposite would happen and buck had to cover for him.
October 8, 200422 yr please, Buck is awesome 586180[/snapback] Correct, Buck is awesome, but McCarver still blows. They should holla at Steve Stone, him and Buck would be a heck of a tandem.
October 8, 200422 yr It is sooooooooooooooo painful to have to listen to McCarver. Last year during playoffs I just had to pull out my radio and listen to the ESPN announcers he was soooooooooooo piss-poor. He's Baseball's version of Joe Theismann. It would not be so bad except he sets himself up to be an expert and 9 out of 10 he's just so wrong. I could see if someone never watched a baseball game he might seem insightful, but to anyone else he's a retard. PLEASE Deion Sanders come back and play baseball just so you can dump more water on this retards watered down brain.
October 9, 200422 yr Finally something we can ALL agree on.......McCarver is the WORST. I don't understand why he even got that job.
October 10, 200422 yr Thom Brenamen with color from Tony Gwynn and David Justice. My dream broadcast.
October 11, 200422 yr what happened to buck in the la-stl series? they got that rat brennamen doing the last couple games.
