So what does everybody here do for a living anyway? And how old is everybody? I'm 24 and work for a golf internet site called Golfbargains.com (shameless plug i know).

I'm asking b/c i think it will give me a better understanding of some of the points of view on this board and b/c I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO :ph34r

I'm 15 and a student, I wanted to start working this summer but I have summer school :( .

Oh well, ill be 16 in October and then more jobs are open.....

I'm 18....19 in August. Student at Furman University. History major, but plan to get into college football or, if needed, high school coaching somewhere up in SC, NC, or TN. Um, currently my summer job is home repairs. I have held a bunch of jobs. Did some computer maintenance when I was 14 and 15. Didnt work when I was 16 (no idea why). Last summer I had the coolest job:

I started working for a health company in their warehouse just building shelves, organizing stuff, etc. My dad was friends with my boss (always helps). Anyway, they ended up being involved in the TSA contract that helped in the hiring of airport security guards. The company I worked for ran the medical testing and physical performance testing. There were different sites all throughout the U.S. I would go and help set up the sites and make sure stuff ran smoothly. Anyway, I ended up travelling to Boston for training, then to Charlotte, Burlington, VT, Memphis, Fairbanks Alaska, and then Nashville. I got paid well, got per diem (Alaska perdiem is nice), and got to travel the country by myself. Anyway, I would do it this year, or at least work for the same company, but I gotta stay at home for football training. Oh well.

I am 15. i can't get no job because I have summer school.(i feel your pain joe)

I suck at school so I am trying to get a basketball or baseball scholorship(sp?).

I guess I'm the old man in here at the ripe old age of 27.

I am a Gulf War Veteran. I have degrees in English and Theater. I have about 2 dozen certifications in the computer field including PIX firewall and IBM SP supercomputer clusters. I am and always have been an avid traveler. I am a certified SCUBA diver. I'm a volunteer firefighter, a certified first responder, and a certified CPR instructor. I work for the University at Albany in New York as a super computer administrator slash network guy slash computer guru.
