July 1, 200323 yr odom006 that babe is freakin hot :w00t but I don't think the Marlins are a arm in pen away. This team needs two arms and vet bat to make a serious run....JMO :thumbup yo ed im all 4 the 2 arms no dobt man.. the VET Bat i dunno..... i really dont wanna give up any good players Prospects and people with Potential i dont mind..... and yes the Babe is HOT, we call her Tera Patrick, she is INFAMOUS
July 1, 200323 yr Tejera is crap, DeJean is pretty solid....... teams could do better than Tejera and Red for DeJean and Slap, the Reds arent dealing Dunn
July 1, 200323 yr I would like to see Penny in the pen. He might be a Dotel or Gange type who would really help us. Ya I remember Dotels days with the Mets as a starter.
July 1, 200323 yr Tejera is crap, DeJean is pretty solid....... teams could do better than Tejera and Red for DeJean and Slap, the Reds arent dealing Dunn Damn I thought they were giving up on him due to his low batting average
July 1, 200323 yr I would like to see Penny in the pen. He might be a Dotel or Gange type who would really help us. Ya I remember Dotels days with the Mets as a starter. Penny in the pen????? he could be a Krazy Closer..... na i dunno id rather see Pavz in the pen and Pheips in the rotation
July 1, 200323 yr i respectfully disgaree although i wouldnt mind Pavs in the pen, i would rather him start than Phelps
July 1, 200323 yr and Dunn Ks like his name is Lee or somethin...actually worse...207 BA, 93 Ks...I'd take Lee over Dunn....Lee's ba is .263 with 65 Ks. Dunn's SLG might be a little more (.519 to .485) but Lee has about the same OBP (.862 to .868) and RBIs (44 to 46). Oh yah did I mention that his BA is almost 60 points higher? So Dunn's got 7 more HRs....Lee doesnt even heat up till 2nd half.
July 1, 200323 yr lol give up on DUNN hahhahaha DUnN and Austin K are teh Future of the reds... Neither will get traded what they need is starting pitching and now they know how big of a STIFF Ryan DUMPster is
July 1, 200323 yr I would like to see Penny in the pen. He might be a Dotel or Gange type who would really help us. Ya I remember Dotels days with the Mets as a starter. Penny in the pen????? he could be a Krazy Closer..... na i dunno id rather see Pavz in the pen and Pheips in the rotation penny's ego would never let him go to the pen..........
July 1, 200323 yr Slap, he's only 23 who would give up on him Well I did hear rumors about potential deals involving Dunn maybe they wanted to let Casey start who knows. I guess those rumors were BS.

Penny in the pen????? he could be a Krazy Closer..... na i dunno id rather see Pavz in the pen and Pheips in the rotation Dotel and Gange did well moving to the Pen. Imagine if Penny, who has the stuff, moved to the Pen and followed the coaching. As long as he is on this team, he must follow our coaches and management's instructions. Admin Beinfest on WQAM at 6PM
July 1, 200323 yr you dont know Penny...how do you know? the guy is known to be stubborn....he has been a starting pitcher his whole life....you think he would want to go to the pen?? anyone want to back me up here?
July 1, 200323 yr His ego comes last compared to this team's success. If he thrives in the Bullpen, imagine where his ego would be. Brad Penny, dominant setup man who doesn't blow the lead ever.
July 1, 200323 yr peace out guys, going home...game time at 7!!! i'll be willing the marlins to victory, will you??? GO FISH!!
July 1, 200323 yr The Marlins will announce today or tommorrow that Lowell is going NOWHERE. I believe the Marlins will try to sign him before the season ends BUT remember who were dealing with. CASE CLOSE ON THE LOWELL TRADE TALKS Look, The Marlins can say they are going to sign Lowell and that he isn't going anywhere until they are blue in the face. Unfortunately, Lowell (and his agent) have alot to say about that, the whole "it takes two to tango" idea. Sure, the Marlins can ignore reality and keep him up through arbitration at the end of the year. Then what? Here's a hypothetical: Assume you are Beinfest. It's February 2004. You didn't trade Mike off at the deadline, and now he's arbitration-elidgible (at 6-8 mil per year). Now you are stuck with a huge portion of your salary in one player, have had to or are going to have to trade all other players in the teams' nucleus (Castillo, Lee, etc) and have yet again painted yourself into a corner. What would you do? And no, you can't count on a "hometown discount", or tens of thousands of fans because the Fish made it to the playoffs, or "special money" or any of the other excuses you all use - because Beinfest can't count on them right now, either. If any of you have ever studied the law you know that having a reasonable exit strategy is essential in contracts. Where is the Marlins' exit strategy? This is just plain irresponsible PR spin by the Marlins. Especially to claim that Lowell isn't going anywhere. I think this may be a negotiation tactic, trying to win over pubic sentiment so Lowell looks like the bad guy when he wants to go to Arby and get what's coming to him instead of getting low-balled by the Fish. Either way the fan gets screwed when we watch the Southern version of the Brewers..One star surrounded by BLue Light special scrubs.
July 1, 200323 yr ya penny is a a** hole people tell em to stop tryin to ova power evey1 but he doesnt listen... Not gonna happen Penny wont go to the pen, hell he wont even learn how to use his stuff..... i mean take notes Penny ffrom Redman who changed his delivery yesterday and had the Braves in "awe".... Penny makes me sick, he better wise up!!!
July 1, 200323 yr lol...none of us really have a clue what goes on when the mics arent on. Except for danny LOL. I mean, I'm sure no one likes getting sent to the pen..>Gagne didnt like it. Kim wants to be a starting pitcher. It's just something you are forced to do. What's penny gonna do? Suck in the pen on purpose? Doubt it.

July 1, 200323 yr As long as Penny is on this team and having his salary paid by this team, he will do what this team says as long as it is legal. Ego or no ego, I don't give a care to his whining and temperment.
July 1, 200323 yr I'm trying to decide.... Listen to Beinfest at 6pm or fart into a tape recorder and listen over and over.... I got a dollar says he's more evasive then Clinton in a whorehouse.
July 1, 200323 yr Author "Look, The Marlins can say they are going to sign Lowell and that he isn't going anywhere until they are blue in the face. Unfortunately, Lowell (and his agent) have alot to say about that, the whole "it takes two to tango" idea" How did I know you were going to be anything but positive about this move. I guess you'll never change. You never be a Fan of this team and you'll always try to being us down. :jackass
