Ballpark Sites...

Featured Replies

Which site? If you pick "Other" you must give a site and reasoning. The argument of no ballpark will be built will not be accepted. It must be within the South Florida Metro Area.

We are evenly split so far. I just did this poll to see where most people would like to see one built, just in case someone in the Marlins Front Office ever cared to look. Who knows, maybe when the poll is done, I might email it to the club.

I'm Boca-Biased on this one, but I think you have to build it in Fort Lauderdale to attract fans from both North and South. That and because the original theory that the hispanic fans of Miami would come out to see the games at Pro Robbie hasn't drawn flies.

Further, it's gotta be in a downtown enviroment, where you can incorporate ancillary activities with the game. Forget building it in the Swamp in Sunrise, there is nothing to do out there except go to the game...Unless you are a Senior Citizen looking for a good discount on some shoes.

Bicentenial Park is located next to the Americna Airlines Arena in Downtown Miami.

the photos I posted were from the idea at Bicentennial Park, but it would be similar in almost every other site.

Guys, right now we have 3 sites rumored. Bicentennial Park, Miami Arena Site (accross the street from the AAA), and the Miami River Site. I think this ballpark might be a done deal by November or December.
