November 14, 200421 yr MY PREDICTION Mota Spooney Rudy Bump Perisho weathers Small what do you guys think will shape up for the bullpen next year
November 14, 200421 yr Author I want to put Benitez in there so bad....and maybe Comrier..but i honestly doubt we'll get bullpen help....we might add another Bat...another starter..or keep most the team we have....but i doubt are bullpen will look very pretty next year to start off with anyway
November 14, 200421 yr Author Benietez Mota Spoony Bump Perisho Small Weathers that doesnt look so bad though...the team could survive with these guys and 4 quality starters

November 14, 200421 yr I seriously doubt they add more than one arm. Without moving Encarnacion there's barely enough money for one of Pavano, LoDuca or Benitez let alone also a lefty slugger, bench and bullpen. Mota Spooneybarger Dennis Reyes / Steve Kline / Kent Mercker / David Weathers 3 of: Bump, Wayne, Hutchinson, Messenger, Seanez, Perisho, Travis Smith, Frank Castillo and other minor leaguers and spring training invites

That's a big mistake. This team needs to sure up its starting pitcher and add a real run producing bat. And when I say that I dont mean an "allstar" catcher who hits about .280 with 70 RBI and a RF who has the 3rd lowest OBP in baseball.
November 15, 200421 yr Do you mean 'Proven Run Producer' Tony Batista? 614777[/snapback] I shuddered when you mentioned that name so bad

The bullpen should be the last priority. You have to have a lead for the bullpen to serve any purpose at all. Spooney and Mota will do fine, and if needed we can get a closer at the deadline.
November 15, 200421 yr Carry only 9 position players. Carry 16 pitchers. Starter gets at least 5 innings every game. Each reliever gets 1 out each.
