July 7, 200323 yr This is the best thing that could of happend to Willis. Baker is going to regret he ever left Willis off the All Star roster. When Willis starts against the Cubs both before and after the All Star break he will have a chip on his shoulder and will pitch like never before. I can't wait to watch on MLB TV and stare into the eyes of Baker when Willis is pitching lights out and thinking how is this guy not an All star? If Baker ain't shiting his pants now he will be. If there wasn't a rivalry between the Cubs and Marlins before there is now thats for sure. I hated the Cubs with all the Lowell rumors and add to the fact that the Cubs swept us at Wrigley last year it just adds to the tension. Now this Willis Incident oh boy I can't wait to spank those Cubs.

Has to be one of the worst starters at 3rd in the league. Not sure why they don't start Martinez or Hill instead. Harris is a good PH at best.
July 7, 200323 yr Yep now Dusty is going to see him and regret not putting him in the All Star game. Willis should pitch good against the Cubs they havent been playing too good the Whole season.
July 7, 200323 yr Dusty doesn't manage very well. He did well with the Giants because that was a terrific team, even Torborg could win alot with them. Dusty Baker makes alot of mistakes with his bullpen and bench and it is showing with the Cubs recent struggles.
July 7, 200323 yr Cape I'm upset over this too, but to say that Dusty isn't a good manager? C'mon... I wouldn't say anyone could win with that team. I guess I'll try & look for a silver lining & know that Dontrelle will get plenty of rest before walking in and beating the crap out of the Cubs.
