Harris is a great club house leader and he somehow involves everyone he can be the one to hang with JP and then josh cause everyone is so comfortable him him and he's the only one on the team that can do that in my opinion. Bottom line is Lenny is a veteran and I would rather have him than some rookie kid that won't put the ball in play.

November 30, 200421 yr The good thing about this move is that it is a minor league contract, not a gaurenteed major league contract like early reports seemed to indicate. Hopefully, to be a part of next year's team, he's going to have to show in Spring Training why he belongs.
November 30, 200421 yr I like this move. Every team needs a guy like Lenny Harris in their clubhouse. He also came up pretty big in the second half of the season, not just the hit off of Gagne.
