December 2, 200421 yr ....than your an idiot who should not be allowed to have an opinion. Giambi got and used steroids from BONDS TRAINER after asking him "how Barry manages to keep in such good shape at his age". Yeah, that doesn't say anything, just like the fact that Bonds has steroids SENT TO HIS HOUSE doesn't say anything. If you think Bonds is innocent, you think O.J. is innocent, and I would hope that nobody will still argue in defense of Bonds, because such is beyond stupid.
December 2, 200421 yr he is innocent. this is just a huge conspiracy againts Barry because he is black. :plain
December 2, 200421 yr OJ is guilty? 625277 The only thing OJ is guilty of is being Norbert!
December 2, 200421 yr Author OJ is guilty? 625277 No, i'm just a racist for thinking the mountain worth of evidence against O.J. makes him guilty. All black people hate racist crackers like me who think O.J. is actually guilty, and I'm also a racist for convicting Barry Bonds based on the evidence against him. :plain
December 2, 200421 yr Fact is, Giambi has been hurt and has just looked weak the last year or so.. Bonds has been going strong, even with all the testing. So, on the contrary, my friend. All the latest developments should show Bonds' innocence.
December 2, 200421 yr Author Bonds won MVPs as skinny Barry too. 625321 I never said he's only good because of steroids, I just said he's on them....

December 2, 200421 yr If you think Barry Bonds doesn't use 'roids you seriously need to question your sanity.

All the latest developments should show Bonds' innocence. 625310 NO You obviously don't know how steriods work. I suggest reading an article on the ESPN site about it under FAQ http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/index# , the drop-off in terms of muscle after you stop using steriods is a SLOW process. It is even more so, if you supplement it with a rigid workout regime, which Bonds is notoriously famous for. Giambi doesn't have that reputable workout-regime, nor is there any direct link between his illness and the use of steriods. He ALSO was using steriods prior to 2000, for how long? Who knows. The latest developments? Like the Feds saying that they have memos and tapes that implicate Bonds, BALCO is toast, and Giambi has confessed to using steriods given to him by Anderson. Barry is sinking badly, all these latest developments further what the Feds have been saying and are consistent with Bonds being a Roid head Excuse me, but honestly you'd have to be a complete moron to think otherwise.
December 2, 200421 yr Innocent until proven guilty. Bonds won MVPs as skinny Barry too. 625321 Giambi also won an MVP in Oakland before taking steriods, but that doesn't mean he's innocent of taking steriods.
December 2, 200421 yr Bonds' tests haven't been released, neither has his grand jury testimony. The circumstantial evidence against him is incredible, enough to convict him in court more chances than not. This is the equivalent of convicting without a murder weapon. Something is fishy here, however. I know the test results are private until what, the third time testing positive? And the roids are undetectable anyways. However, why hasn't his testimony been leaked? One would think that if he had testified under oath that he didn't do all these things, it'd be something at least. Some people would be persuaded by the fact that he'd be facing perjury charges if lying to think that he didn't use them after all. Is someone holding this testimony back because it's too juicy for the public to be able to handle right now? Better to have the fallout now then on the eve of Opening Day.

Better to have the fallout now then on the eve of Opening Day. 625404 He wouldn't have lied under oath, but at the same time the only reason we have Giambi's testimony is because his was leaked... I don't expect Conte to say much more about Bonds on Friday, but I'm sure the question will be asked. It's more than likely the case that his testimony itself just hasn't been leaked for one reason or another. This doesn't mean there isn't anything to leak though, I'm sure regardless of what he said, it'd be very 'juicy' even if he was innocent and he said he was innocent there is just as much incentive to leak that information. Some bits have been leaked about Bonds like the tape, part of Anderson's testimony although he later denied saying such things.
December 3, 200421 yr It has already been said that Bonds denied using any steriods during this trial... And I believe the rule is that it's made public after the second time a player tests positive, not the fifth... My point is this.... Barry Bonds has not shown any signs of slowing down. MLB has been pretty strict within the last couple of years, which is why we've seen drop offs on other players... Bonds, however, has only shown signs of getting better.. I obviously cannot say whether he has taken anything or not. I don't know him. But until there is some hard evidence, he is innocent...
December 3, 200421 yr I know for a fact that it is not made public the first number of times. They get suspended, but they do not disclose why, the team can say they are hurt or what not. But by the 3 or 4th time when they are suspended for 20-something games it becomes obvious.
