Sad, some people who have never been on this site and only that one most think the majority of Marlins fans are idiots.

People, look at the signatures on some of those comments. They are obviously from kids or teenagers. You can't expect them to be so knowledgeable... about baseball, that is. Besides, we also have our share of stupidity in this board from time to time

Hey! Well Pavano wasn't traded he was a free agent and just signed with the Yankees cause they offered him A LOT more money! I hate the Yankees too! They always get whoever they want because they have a whole bunch of money! Well w/e .....did u hear about the burnett trade for vazquez? OMG that su.x! i luv burnett! He can't leave too! This su.x a lot! so sad..... :'(

Didn't say you were stupid. I was trying to point out that most comments of this sort shouldn't be taken that seriously after looking at the nicknames and realizing it is probably a kid or a "pre-teen" I was generalizing. Even adults say stupid things in this forum... :whistle

I big problem with many of those such message boards is the way people respond to these preteens/teens. Lets say some kid posts 'we should sign pudge again'. Instead of responding with "he isnt a free agent you m00ktard", a person should respond " He isnt a free agent this year so we cant sign him, here this is a list of available free agents www.link.com."

 

Everyone has to learn at some point we didnt pop out of our mothers at the hospital with complete knowledge of what goes on in baseball. Calling the kid who made the JD Drew comment stupid is in itself much stupider.

Remember alot of these people jumped on the bandwagon once the Marlins escaped from the cellar. The level of idiocy on that board knows no bounds. What's sad is that this is the impression that people have of us Marlins fans.
