January 27, 200521 yr Notes: tough to wait on the market ... helped to wait, allowed market to develop ... will do his best, put the numbers up, drive in runs, etc ... he feels great (about his knees and such) .. prefers natural grass / dirt as does the other athletes .. hoping it won't be an issue so he can go out and play everyday .. felt it tough in the division he was in because the Yanks / Red Sox constantly got people .. NL East is a tough division .. he likes the way we look .. great pitching staff .. balanced lineup .. some runners, some power .. this is exactly where we want to be .. great memories in Toronto, welcoming the change to Miami .. strong latin influence .. baseball in our blood (Miami) ..
