January 30, 200521 yr Attendance is nearly as important as wins and losses this year for the sake of the franchise.
January 30, 200521 yr Author the article goes on to state that the Marlins expect FanFest to be an even bigger day with regards to ticket sales. Very nice to hear. This is going to be a great year all around.
January 30, 200521 yr Thats awesome news. I am sure at fan fest they will easily top 210,000. So atleast 360,000 in 4 days is not bad. That doesnt accout for thursday and friday.

January 30, 200521 yr I am sure right after fan fest they will start disclosing info. I am going to get some tickets soon.

January 31, 200521 yr Personally I'd like to see 65,000 there for opening day. 672866 I agree... I would love to see 65,000 at the game on opening day
January 31, 200521 yr How many did we have last year, 55,000? It would be nice to atleast get to 50,000

January 31, 200521 yr I'd be thrilled with 55k again. The 4pm versus 1pm start time helps, as does Delgado, but the unveiling of the banner was big for most people.
January 31, 200521 yr The banner definetly sold alot of tickets. But you have atlanta who is always a good draw, plus delgado, plus its opening day (which usually would get in the 33,000 range) For sure it will be over 40,000
January 31, 200521 yr Attendance is nearly as important as wins and losses this year for the sake of the franchise. 672657 Probably more important
January 31, 200521 yr The Marlins should get good attendance this year. We have a strong roster. And hopefully we will get alot of fan support because they relize that we are a contending team,

This is going to be a great year all around. 672660 Does that mean that FanFest is going to be packed again like last year, and you will have to wait two hours in line for 1 autograph? :confused oh well I will get over it since the attendance is good for the team.
