July 17, 200323 yr Is one more arm in the Pen (Uggy) gonna be enough to make our bullpen consistant? I really think if we want to have a good bullpen and to be taken seriously we really have to get another arm (maybe Lightenberg) i really dont think the addition of Uggy will make our bullpen better by itself. AA and Phelps are just plain scary to me and it's even scarier that McKeon still uses them a lot. the next couple of weeks are going to be critical, and Spooney's not gonna be around to help. I really think we Need another dependant arm besides , Uggy, Loop etc. what do you think?
July 17, 200323 yr Looks to me like we may get David Weathers! Well lets hope atleast lol I think it would be a great addition the mets may even have a batter we can take who knows but I still like Weathers in the bullpen and possibly a rondell white,conine,huff

July 17, 200323 yr Getting Weathers would be a good move. Getting an extra bat may not be needed if we can get some more run production from Hollandsworth, Cabs, and DLee.

They all depend on the team you're with. Weathers could pitch 3 innings and give up just one run and lose...any time he gives up a single run he can lose...I mean, this is the Mets... It all depends on the team... All time loss career leader: CY YOUNG...
July 17, 200323 yr When all three members of the Big Three are healthy and pitching then our bullpen will suffice. Until Spooney returns, Weathers will be a nice shoe in. And then when Spooney is back Weathers can head to middle or long relief.
July 17, 200323 yr this team still needs a lefthanded reliever. tejera and almanza are horrible. no that is too kind. if any upgrade needs to be made, its from the lefthanded side.
