February 27, 200521 yr Win-Loss records are such a stupid stat. A guy can go nine innings, give up an unearned run and get a loss because his team scored 0. Or a guy can go five innings, give up 10, but get the win because his team scored 11. Really dumb stat, I wish people would stop referring to it as if it had any relevance to the worth of the pitcher.
