July 18, 200322 yr vote and explain ? i said Pudge , he will be worth the $10 mill we gave him and he was hot b-4 the all star break so i think he will stay hot
July 18, 200322 yr Lowell is going to put up an MVP-quality season, and finish 3rd to Albert Pujols and Barry Bonds.
July 18, 200322 yr Author Lowell is going to put up an MVP-quality season, and finish 3rd to Albert Pujols and Barry Bonds. i hope so , but i would like to see Lowell , Lee , and Pudge red hot at same time
July 18, 200322 yr I actually voted for Pierre. I think if he gets things started at the top, Pudge and the rest can drive him in very often (like the last game where Pudge drove in Pierre every time...)
July 18, 200322 yr Author I actually voted for Pierre. I think if he gets things started at the top, Pudge and the rest can drive him in very often (like the last game where Pudge drove in Pierre every time...) Pudge can drive him and castillo in
July 18, 200322 yr we are gonna have two guys tearing it up with lowell and pudge.....pudge will just do more though, i think
July 18, 200322 yr I voted for DLEE. I expect Lowell, Pudge, Luis and JuanP to continue to put their first half numbers. If Dlee gets on fire, that could make a big difference on our run production. . .
July 18, 200322 yr Pudge can drive him and castillo in So can Lowell, so can Encarnacion, so can Lee, so can Miguel, so can A-Gon... What's your point!? Stop trying to unsuccessfully persuade people to pick Pudge! Lowell is the key to the second half. If he doesn't hit, we might just be screwed. If he hits relitively close to what he has done in the first half, we will continue this success...
July 18, 200322 yr Pudge: 10-time All-Star, career .300 hitter, the guy knows how to get it done. His experience and leadership, combined with what I think will be a very strong second half at the plate, will have the most impact on this team. We need continued production from Lowell, Pierre, Redman, Beckett, and of course Dontrelle (and it would be nice if the bullpen could gain some consistency); but I think Pudge is a huge key for us. Bring on the second half; let's start it by sweeping Dusty out of Joe Robbie (remember the '97 playoffs, Dust? I know you do...). GO FISHIES!
July 18, 200322 yr I almost forgot about Gonzalez. Why isn't he a choice in the poll? Granted, he's been slumping somewhat, but he started the season gangbuster; he even had BoSox Gammons touting him as an All-Star.
July 18, 200322 yr I went with Dlee. If he just stays on his yearly course of big second halfs that'll be great. Everybody else just keep doing what your doing
July 18, 200322 yr Id D.Lee has a good second half and Lowell keeps it up. Then Lee will proctect Lowell. Derek Lee is the true key, because then they wont walk lowell.
July 18, 200322 yr Gotta be Frenchy- Yeah, the big bombs and RBI's and all that crap is flashy, gaudy and gets all the attention, but Pierre is the straw the stirs the drink, so to speak. Gimme the R's and walks and SB, Frenchy, You the (little) Man!!!!! Frenchy = PIMP
July 18, 200322 yr Pudge...he was heating up at the end of the 1st half and he will continue to do so. He has found his weakness and is hitting way better now
