March 13, 200521 yr The Sox traded Carlos Lee for Scott Podsednik and reliever Luis Vizcaino in December. There was a lot of criticism and people said that the Crew fleeced the Sox, but we used the saved money to subsequently sign El Duque, AJ Pierzynski and Japanese 2B Tadahito Iguchi. In essence, we got 5 players for 1. Previously we had signed reliever Dustin Hermanson and RF Jermaine Dye. That's the story of the Sox offseason. We like it. Everyone else in the baseball world picks us to finish 4th. What else is new?

March 15, 200521 yr steal of the offseason ... trading wise brew crew brew crew brew crew ok im gonna go get drunk now 709992[/snapback] I think the trade will work out well for both teams. IMO, Carlos Lee isn't as good as everyone makes him out to be. Where was all this recognition when he was with the Sox? :whistle
March 15, 200521 yr White Sox got the better end.. they need speed at the top, and they got it with Podsednik... and Aaron Rowand will make them forget about Lee. Luis Vizcaino gives the sox a very solid 4some of Shingo, Marte, Hermanson and Vizcaino.
