Actually, I seem to think he did get some surgery done. Maybe he used Conine's eye doctor. :lol

Oh man, Spring Training loss. I'm scared.

We can win when it counts.

Mecir has to be in some jeopardy of losing his spot. I don't care about his service time -- if he doesn't turn it around fast I don't think his roster spot should be a lock.

Anyone know what kind of batters Mecir has been facing? Generally he has more success against lefthanders. Most ST games are about just getting work in so I doubt Jack is sending him in at any time. Yeah, yeah, you can't put too much stock in ST numbers, pitchers aren't throwing thier best stuff, catchers aren't calling their best games and fielders aren't stretching that extra inch, but sheesh, he's given up tons of walks and line drives!

It doesn't really look like Moehler got torched.

He had three shut-out innings before giving up three in the fourth. Hard to tell what took place in that inning.

Following up on Moehler.

If the Herald is correct that Moehler pitched 3 2/3 innings of scoreless ball and was credited with giving up three runs he must have left in the fourth with two outs and the bases loaded, and the next guy(s) couldn't get the job done.
