April 26, 200521 yr Author Heilman with another gem. 7ip, 2h, 1er, 5k, 1bb. Offense gets all the runs in the 6th, Looper and Wright nearly blow the damned thing but they pull out the win.
April 26, 200521 yr Nice win by the Mets I was watching the game Floyd's homer was out of the park in one second :lol he really smoked that ball.
April 26, 200521 yr Author Very nice game to watch, I could have done without the mess in the 9th -- but we have Pedro going tomorrow and when you can get your 5th starter to pitch like that against the Braves you're doing something. Half game out of first, here we come. Floyd's been crushing the ball. He's hit in 11th straight game and is playing just wonderfully. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. He's credited a lot of his success to his little daughter, she puts him in a real comfortable place and makes playing a lot more fun.
April 26, 200521 yr I watch almost every game on ESPN :plain (Baseball Freak) :lol That mess in the 9th was pretty bad... I had a feeling that Blooper Looper was going to give up a few runs and blow the game, but I guess I was wrong :headscratch Good Luck tomorrow, but not too much luck
April 26, 200521 yr Author Looper his same old self. 754931 In fairness he was out of the inning twice. Wright bobbled a couple of balls and that's how they pushed the run across. I think he's pitching through something right now though, he just doesn't look right out there.

April 26, 200521 yr Author Good Luck tomorrow, but not too much luck I'd say the same, but I don't think you'll need it in Colorado.

What was his velocity I didn't check it? 754939 He's been in the low90's, high 80's with his fastball all season.

Weather wasn't to great tonight. I'm sure he'll have his velocity back soon but he'll fall apart in August, if the Mets give him a lot of save situations early.
April 26, 200521 yr I watch almost every game on ESPN :plain (Baseball Freak) 754932 Ha, me too. It's so sad. Good win for the Mets. Anyone who beats the Braves...well I'm happy.
April 26, 200521 yr Author I was thrilled the game was actually on. Time Warner cut MSG and FSNY because the Mets are moving next year and it will be just hockey, their contract wth cablevision was up this year and rather than pay through the nose for another contrct just for one year of the Mets they just said screw Cablevision and will pick up Mets Net next season. Sucks because the only games I get are on the weekend and ESPN games.
April 26, 200521 yr Excellent. I should be able to see those when I'm home over the summer - I can pick it up on satellite.

May 3, 200521 yr Author Pedro was just unreal last night, another dominating performance. The offense puts up 3 just in time to get him the win and Cliff Floyd now has the longest hitting streak in the majors this season at nearly 18 games. Nive 5-1 win. Glavine going today, he seriously needs a win to jump start his season.

May 5, 200521 yr Author You were saying? Seo dominates the Phillies pitching 7 scoreless innings of 1 hit ball. Floyd continues the hot streak ... it's now at 20 straight games thanks to an RBI single and solo homer, his 8th, which moves him into a tie for 3rd in the league in homers.
