i thought drew rosenhaus was relatively convincing yesterday.

Money doesnt solve all problems.

 

T.O. isnt even in the top 10 highest paid WR in the NFL. Are you telling me that there are 10 WRs better than T.O. In the NFL teams always cut guys, restructure contracts etc...T.O. should get what he is worth. Personally I think all athletes are overpaid, but the NFL is cut throat when it comes down to guaranteed money, players need to get what they can get.

What bugs me most about TO is that he calls out people all the time, but when someone calls him out he cries and says that he's a person too. I also see why he's hurting because his grandmother is dying and she was the one that raised him IIRC so that's gotta be really terrible for him.

TO didnt have to sign the contract last year.

i dont have too much of a problem with him asking for more money, since the NFL rules are set up so players always have the leverage to hold out for more cash.

Wow the man is one of the best WR's and he doesn't even get paid like one! I am sure if most of you were in his shoes and you saw other WR's that dont even compare to you get paid more you'd be upset. The man deserves to get paid when you're good at your job, and when you're the best at your job you deserve to get paid and he deserves to get paid. Sure T.O is probably the best, but he's still getting paid A TON. Why not be a bit more selfless and tell your team to save the cap space to help fill in more gaps?

yep ... his status hasn't shifted too much from the year prior ... he had one great improvement in that he played well and showed under pressure in the SB and one great negative in that he had his first injury

 

he could of handled his situation a 100 different way last year ... no one forced him to sign a contract

 

this isn't like a guy getting drafted in the 6th round, getting 500k bonus, 300k base and a 4 year deal then after year 2 is leading the league at their position

 

I have no problem with that guy wanting to restructure

 

this is the move owens went to court to force ... this is the move that he desired so badly .. he couldn't wait to get his hands on that contract ... now 1 year later he acts like a bitch about it

How anybody can argue that a guy that has a 7/49 contract with an I believe 8 mill signing bonus has the right to hold out for more money just makes me lose faith that mankind has common sense.

I wonder if Boras and Rosenhaus share a summer home or something.
