Posted April 23, 200520 yr Eduardo Perez hit a home run just above that orange trim at the Trop tonight to beat the Red Sox. 459ft, I wonder what it woulda gone if the park wasn't there.
April 23, 200520 yr But it was against the Red Sox so therefore MLB is disallowing it and calling it a ground rule double.
April 23, 200520 yr F**k the Red Sox!!! 752227 No No Accord you got it all wrong F**K the F***ING Red Sox !!! I enjoy your passion though, no pun intended.
April 23, 200520 yr Anyone else see Justin Morneau's game tying shot off of Troy Percival in the ninth? That was a monster shot.
April 23, 200520 yr 459ft, I wonder what it woulda gone if the park wasn't there. 752128 roughly 459ft. contrary to what rich waltz says, the measured "distance" number is actually just a rough estimate of how far from the plate the ball would have landed had its flight been uninterrupted (i.e. it didn't hit seats/rafters/etc. but instead landed on the ground).

April 24, 200520 yr David Ortiz hit a shot off the jumbo tron which is to the right of the Hess sign in CF. It wasn't as long as Perez's HR.
April 24, 200520 yr I hate the Red Sox. This is off-topic, but I fail to understand the logic of a non-retractable dome stadium in South Florida. It's too hot?? B.S. No wonder the D-Rays have no fans.
