Posted April 24, 200519 yr Has anyone been outside this morning? It's absolutley beautiful. Not a cloud in the sky and its only gonna get up to like 77. One of the best days for baseball in Marlins history, methinks. With that being said I'm going to the Heat game.

April 24, 200519 yr Well, It really is a nice day out for baseball Clear sky, breezy and warm (but not too warm)
April 24, 200519 yr I think we need like 25,000 or something like that to get 130,000 for the homestand.
April 24, 200519 yr I would go but Im going to have company. I might sneak out through the back door....
April 24, 200519 yr I was there yesterday for the 1pm game and I got the worst sunburn, not only were my arms burned by the TOPS of my knee's were burned, lol. You know how your shorts don't cover the tops of your knees when you're sitting down? Yeah....
April 24, 200519 yr Today's attendance: 28,219 753570 We ended up with just over 82,000 for the series. Which is good considering yesterdays game was at 1pm and the reds are not that good of a draw. Had yesterdays game been at night we could have easily had 3,000 more. I am pleased so far with attendance.
April 24, 200519 yr Today's attendance: 28,219 753570 the reds are not that good of a draw. 753761 The Reds were the 8th best road draw last year out of all teams with just about 30,977 a game on the road.

West coast teams will draw better in the west than they will in the east. For the marlins, the reds are not that good of a draw. On a side note, what is that picture you have?
April 24, 200519 yr On a side note, what is that picture you have? 753845 Which one? The Hee Seop? The sig or the avatar?

April 24, 200519 yr Today's attendance: 28,219 753570 Is that true, or are you guessing? 753575 Rich Waltz said it during the broadcast.

April 24, 200519 yr I'm willing to bet the Reds road drawing prowess is inflated due to the division they play in with the Cubs and Cards.
April 24, 200519 yr I'm willing to bet the Reds road drawing prowess is inflated due to the division they play in with the Cubs and Cards. 754011 Exactly. Kind of like the Jays/D-Rays being in the same division with the Sox and Yanks.

They have a big national following so fans will come out to see them. For the rest of the teams it depends where you play.
