sheff#1
Only won by 18 instead of the avg 21 point whoopin they have handed the Nets in the 3 games this year. even with a not 100% shaq only playing 32 min we spanked em. nets fans discuss. Craig
To call the Nets "defense" pathetic would be a disservice to the word pathetic......letting Damon Jones drop 30+ on you? Ouch..... They have got a lot of work to do if they want this to be a series...
sheff#1
put it this way. Das was correct in his statements that for the nets to shoot as well as they did and still lose by 18 just shows u something. if they shoot even a bit worse in game 2 and the heat maintain the same ur looking at a 25+ pt loss. nets have no size and this Jefferson experiment is a joke.should of not let him come back and interfere. Ramp
I dont know why you guys are saying the Nets shot that amazing... season fg%: 42.9 game fg: 43.6 doesnt seem like much of a difference The Heat on the otherhand... season fg%: 48.6 game fg%: 59.2 just sayin... Heckeroo
the stats posted by ramp are very valid if youre the 1 seed in a 1-8 game and you shoot 60% and don't absolutely blow the other team out of the water when they play to their normal stats... you're not going to sweep
Craig
Well as long as Vince Carter is on the floor, the other team is going to have a perimeter scorer getting a lot of open looks.

Well that, and he's a horrid defender.

Ramp
I still think the Heat will win this series in 5 or 6, I was just saying that the Nets didnt shoot that great looking at their seasonal averages. I realize they did shoot pretty good when looking at what they did against the Heat. All this nonsense being said, I expect a closer game tomorrow night and just a brief beef.. heheh.... I dont care that much for the 76ers-Pistons series but its quite lame that it isnt on regular tv tomorrow night(NBA tv)
Heckeroo
i wouldve been surprised if the nets won game i won't be surprised if the nets win game 2. Not saying it'll happen, just wont be surprised. Now that the nets see how the heat are going to guard vince, they can find a way to coach around that and get him his looks. Richard Jefferson will at least also be a little bit more of a factor this time around.
