The 9th anniversary of Al Leiter's no hitter was yesterday. I'm happy if he throws a no hitter for two innings now.

WOW its been 4 years since AJ did the no no. I remember that day well. Today is my best friends b-day, and we were in South Beach and someone said AJ is throwing a no no, so we get to some bar with a TV and watched the 9th inning, awesome day

I also remember Al's no no pretty well, I was at Hooters with my brother until like the 7th then we went home and watched the rest.

I remember in the 8th inning of that game I was wondering if he was going to have to come out with a no-hitter, cause they were only up...2-0 was it? It just seemed like in order to throw a strike, he'd have to put it right down the middle and people were hitting deep outs. Thinking of the no-hitter reminds me of how good AJ is now, actually, since he took the pure stuff he had in those days and now is able to control it.

Al Leiter's no hitter wasn't on tv, they were showing a Panthers game.

I remember his No-Hitter. I stayed up late watching it. It was a very long game I remember, and AJ threw a lot of pitches and threw a lot of walks, and the last out was Phil Nevin who came in to pinch hit.

When the game was over I was going crazy! I couldn't believe it. AJ allowed a lot of baserunners but didn't allow a run nor a hit. Amazing.

BTW: Does anyone know if anyone has thrown a no-hitter and walked more guys then AJ walked which I think was 9...???

I remember leaving for Denny's in the 2nd inning and coming back in the 6th with the no no still in tact...

It was amazing.... Every out just had so much pressure on it

Maybe it was on mlb extra inning or something like that? Those sports places do have most of the channels, might have caught it.
