Yeah when I saw the replay it looked like one of those cartoons where the ball would start unraveling, it was hit so hard. Can't imagine what it must've looked like at the game.

I was at the game.. When Easley hit the ball, less then a second it was in the stands... if you blinked you probably missed the whole play.. :lol

Easley was sitting on the fastball. Any good MLB hitter should be able to handle a fastball down the middle of the plate.

Not only that, but they're both right handed infielders whose second to last letter of their last name's is E.

Wagner is only effective when his fastball is over 99 mph. :lol :plain

I don't think it's that big of a deal since Wagner always throws hard and 98MPH is a speed that he reaches often.

 

If it was Al Leiter, or a pitcher who doesn't throw all that hard then it would be a big deal, but it's not.
