5-0, 2.00 ERA, .199 BAA, 0.88 WHIP and 73K in 72IP against only 12 BB.

Last year he was 15-6, 2.27 ERA, .236 BAA, 173K in 166IP with only 53BB.

Also, he is only just 23-years-old.

I don't think he is at all...he gets enough pub.

The most underrated player in all of baseball in Miguel Cabrera. Nobody outside of our little circle here in South Florida pays any attention to him, despite 2003.

You're kidding, right?

Most underrated overall is Paul Konerko.

Maybe as a power hitter.

But then again, he was in the Derby.

He is hitting a robust .237 this year with 41K already.

Last year he was pretty inconsistent when he hit .277, and the year before he was at .234.

I wouldn't say he is underrated. I would say he is rated just correctly: good player, nothing great.

Bobby Abreu has been the most underrated man in baseball since he started playing.

He did get the last all-star spot last year over JP though.

He was the last man voted on the team, and it's the only time he's been on the All Star Team even though he has .307/.414/.520 career numbers in his ninth season with 178 homers, 711 RBIs, and 224 stolen bases. He's been at least a 20-20 man every year since 1999, had 100 RBIs in a season 3 times (2001, 2003, 2004), and has only hit under .300 once in a season since 1997 (and it was .289).

I hate to defend a Philly but Abreu gets no love and he's a great player.

Eh, last night on the Mets broadcast they kept talking about how great he is and how great he will be.

Everytime I see a road broadcast team, they talk about how great of a hitter he is.

He is the most underrated pitcher, but the numbers don't lie, Bobby Abreu has been the most underrated player for a while now.
