The Original Line-up

Featured Replies

The Marlins are kicking ass with the original line-up. It was a great move by Jack to return to it and have faith in the order that was getting us so many wins at the beginning of the season. :thumbup

I understand what Jack is trying to do, and what message he is sending. And I agree with it.

But Encarnacion should be in the 5th spot and Lowell in the 7th.

We have hit well today, but take into consideration we're facing Chan Ho Park. Hopefully this game will get us going though.

true, but Chan Ho Park's having a decent year.

Also, we only had 1 hit against Heilman earlier this year

No, Lowell should be in the 5 spot and Conine should be in the 7th

I'm sure you're joking.

Encarnacion's defense in the OF is >> Conine

Encarnacion with RISP >>> Conine

Conine is > off the bench

I still contend the coupling of our two leadoff men is often more burden than it is an asset. Spread out the speed. Stop taking the bat out of Luiy's hands.

I'd like to see how well they do over the next few games before throwing this lineup a parade. That was a terrible, terrible slump that they've been in and one game doesn't necessarily mean they are out of it.
