June 15, 200521 yr We have a pretty good trading chip just sitting there in AAA, better known as Jason Stokes. His career with the Marlins was basically over the day that we signed Carlos Delgado to a 4 year deal. He would be extremely useful in order to upgrade the bullpen or add another starting pitcher.
June 15, 200521 yr If the rumors of the Yanks being willing to trade Sheff are true, I hope we offer up Enc and a good collection of prospects (Stokes, Olsen, Tank, maybe Willingham) for Sheff and money. If the Yanks don't want to trade Sheff (which I have to assume are true), I hope we go after Zito. Beane would love Willingham.
