Flamarlins3
This team is frustrating as hell but all the big innings this year have definitely been fun
Skully
I think it's safe to call Dontrelle the Ace of this staff at this point.. Not Beckett. He's never been the ace. Last year it was Pavano.

Accord
This entire team is performing like the 2004 Dontrelle Willis. We never knew if the good Dontrelle or the bad Dontrelle would show up. One week he could pitch like he was in A-ball and give up 8 ER, the next outing he would come out and pitch like he was Cy Young and that's exactly how the Marlins are this year. One game they'll play like they're the Royals and blown out 14-0, then the next game they'll come out and play like they're the Yanks or Sawx and blow out a team 15-0. MrAndMrsFish
Talk about hilarious...Luis Castillo just hit his second home run in three games, when he had 16 career homers coming into this series.... we can only hope that the Marlins offense is here to stay...all i would ask for is 33% of what we have today on a nightly basis....is that too much
QuickSilver
all i would ask for is 33% of what we have today on a nightly basis....is that too much 811190 Only 2 NL teams are averaging 5 runs a night.

Cabrera, Delgado, and Castillo have been pretty consistent.

Overall there are 6 teams averaging 5 runs a night (Sox, Rangers, O's, Yanks) are the others. The Astros are the only team to not be averaging at least 4 a game. Anyways, you can't expect us to score 5 runs every single night...
stefanodemais
15-5 after 7 Burnetts' ERA still went up. McKeon left him in too long. As soon as they got those first 2 runs, Burnett should have been taken out. That's just bad managemnet.
Marlins
What's funny is they outhit us in the series but we outscored them in the series. Anyways, that proves that were getting it done with RISP and were out of our slump when we weren't hitting with RISP.
jackarmstrong
yeah, i saw today's score, and usually when we get a win like that i'm totally psyched but today i was just confused

TheMothman
Hopefully the team keeps doing this well. Mike Lowell will soon pick it up and hopefully with him healthy we can dominatel. :notworthy
Shaq-Man
Bi-Polar 811108 heh...seriously. Propelled by a six-run fourth inning, the Marlins went ahead, 8-0. Pierre had a two-run double. Cabrera added an RBI single and Delgado delivered a three-run homer on the first pitch he saw from reliever Todd Wellemeyer. It was the 15th time the Marlins have scored five or more runs in an inning, tops in the Major Leagues. http://florida.marlins.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/...t=.jsp&c_id=fla
PBMarlin
The biggest difference is the hitting from Pierre and Lowell. Man is it great to see them getting the job done. Pierre 4/6, Lowell 3/5. With them back on track and the rest of the offense doing well, we can go on a tear on this road trip. :thumbup
