Good luck to Mordy in his Managerial debut. Not sure who is starting for the Jammers tonight. I'm hoping it's Marceaux.

Here is the Jammers roster so far:Roster

I might've missed this, but has Brett Hayes signed yet? Because he's not on the roster yet. Also not on the roster yet. Andy Jenkins and Paul Witt who are involved in the CWS although Jenkins' Beavers were eliminated by Witt's Baylor Bears.

Players to watch for:

LHP Jon Nickerson

RHP Jacob Marceaux

C Gaby Sanchez

2B James Guerrero

OF Greg Burns

OF Jamar Walton

OF Kris Harvey

2 things...

first, I would think this would be a reasonable short stay for Nickerson

and second, anyone know anything about Xavier Arroyo?.... his name is on the Hammerheads roster but he hasnt played at all

Catcher Brad Davis, out since April with a broken hand, and outfielder Xavier Arroyo, recovering from a broken thumb, are nearly ready to play again.

That was from the article about the Hoppers that Butchy poster

Volstad and Thompson are with the Gulf Coast Team in Jupiter and their season starts on Friday

I'll be going to the Jammers game Saturday at Batavia. I'll give a report of what I saw in this forum.

Jamar Walton sighting!

Cool, good luck Mordy!

Can't wait to go to Jamestown with my dad in July.

Good luck mordy!

Good luck Mordy and the Jammers

Unfortunately Mordy lost his Managerial Debut 6-4. They led most of the game, but Adam Wood got torched for 4 runs in the 8th.

Some stats from tonight's game:

Landon Brazell 3 innings 1 earned run on 3 hits 1 BB 1 K

Zach Lerch 1 perfect inning (not sure why he's in Jamestown he pitched pretty well in his short stint in Jupiter)

Jon Nickerson 1 inning 1 earned run on 2 hits

Daniel Barone 2 scoreless innings

Adam Wood 1 inning 4 earned runs

Greg Burns 2-4 2B

James Guerrero 2-4

Gaby Sanchez 0-2 BB SF

Tanner Rogers 2-3 3B

An interesting note Rick Vanden Hurk's fellow countryman Kenny Berkenbosch who is listed as a pitcher, was the Jammers DH. Not sure what's up with that.
