MVP 2005 Rockies Rotation

Featured Replies

I've been getting back into MVP 2005 and recently took over the Rockies in hopes of turning them around. Check out this starting rotation I was able to put together(I sim the games by the way)... Hopefully in a couple of years this rotation will be dominant eventhough they are in Denver....

1. Oliver Perez

2. Scott Kazmir

3. Jeff Francis

4. Edwin Jackson

5. Chin-Hui Tsao

Obviously we blow this season.. I'm hoping to pick up a couple of young bats during the offseason.

Also have Joey Gathright but he's injured.

Yeah,i had a feeling you were losing money like crazy,i've been very succesful in owner mode,i had the D-Backs and i got up to 11 million bucks(and i wasted a hella lot of money after i earned all that)..but w.e the team doesn't matter..look the first season don't buy nothing at all bro,and try trading Wilson and Johnson(to much $$) and any other player that cost alot,if you can get someone cheaper that performs the same or a little worse do it,it'll pay off then you can get those big free agent players..From their on you can dominate, have fun lol and goodluck

Decided to take your advice. Just traded Jeff Francis, Preston Wilson, and Charles Johnson to the Twins for Mauer and Morneau.. Cleared a crapload of cap.

I chose one that I play all the games and one where I simulate and never play a game complete owner mode. My team just won 117 games in their 8th season(The Dodgers). I've won 5 of the 8 world series. My player pay roll is 91 million. I've just completed buying everything their is too buy which you gets you a small easter egg. So I currently have 5 million in the bank. That'll change now that I don't have to buy anything new.

My rotation in my A's dynasty is:

Oliver Perez

John Rauch

Jake Peavy

Kirk Saarloos

Chris Capuano

Not a great rotation, but my Pen and Offense are both sick.

my marlin's rotations got :

randy johnson

jason schmidt

dontrelle

pedro

and javier vazquez

but gosh budget suckks

I turned budget off.

I couldn't re-sign almost anyone after the season.

Also - w/ fair trade on, I traded Al Leiter and Guillermo Mota to the Nationals for Livan Hernandez..Mota had 3 blown saves in 3 attempts to why not?

I'm undefeated right now, and I brought up Juan Sanchez
