July 7, 200520 yr We have a 6 run lead, and are in the bottem of the 8th.. The Marlins look to gain another game on the Nats, which would be 2 games in 2 days!
July 7, 200520 yr wow, the mets win and the marlins took 2 of 3 form the mets over the weekend. so we should be better than the nats? i like that logic
July 7, 200520 yr Author Ain't it great? Good stuff 844980[/snapback] it was really a first to be exited to say that.. lol
July 7, 200520 yr 6 games back sure feels a lot better than 8. We have the Natties back in our sights now. The Bravos are still in our way as well. :o
July 7, 200520 yr Very proud of my Metropolitans, taking three of four from the best home team in the NL. Good s***.

July 7, 200520 yr I don't mean to be a kill joy or anything, but it is July 7th. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, we don't need to be watching every single game and make threads anytime one of our NL rivals lose, there are 80 games left in the season.

July 7, 200520 yr On another note, the Braves won Game 1 of their doubleheader (so we're essentially holding steady at 3 games out). Best they can do is return to 3.5 up, but if they split the twinbill we'll pull to within 2.5 games going into the Cubs series with a chance (if things go our way in a big big way) to be ahead in the Wild Card going into the All Star break.

Like I said, let's not get ahead of ourselves here....
