Afterall, he was facing a bunch of All-Stars in the All-Star game and I doubt he was giving it his all. I'm not saying he wasn't trying. Every pitcher has their ups and downs. I am sure he won't be quite as solid in the second half as he was in the first, but I think he will still do very well.

That happens often out there really for all star games. Even so if you noticed he really struck out Texiera. He threw a perfect strike that was called a ball So really it should of been out anyways. :shrugs :

July 14, 200521 yr Man I hope he does well. He usually struggles after the ASB and this team is definately going to need him down the stretch. And I'm going to get my @$$ handed to me over on the IGN boards if he doesn't... :confused
July 14, 200521 yr Of course. Hopefully he'll do well this time. So far this season he had been pitching with greater consistency than in the past. His control has been better than the first half of last year and 2003, and the improving change-up should help.
