......Vincent Jackson. He will be the best WR and will be the most impactful rookie.....Watch this 6'5 kid from Northern Colorado.

"He's a terrific athlete and catches the ball very well," Schottenheimer said. "He has miles and miles to go in understanding what the National Football League tempo is like, but he's a physical specimen and is going to be a tremendous football player." Jackson is big at 6-5 and 241 pounds, but he's surprisingly fast for a man of his size, and he doesn't lack confidence. "There's no doubt that my size is going to help me in this league," Jackson said. "Particularly in the red zone, I think I can pose some mismatches."

That sounds like a problem. "Miles and miles to go" does not sound like instant success.

Then again, I don't know if you meant that he was going to be Rookie of the Year or turn out to be the best player from this draft eventually.

Mike Nugent -- probably the best kicker I've ever seen out of college. And he'll get plenty of attempts with that pitiful Jets offense ... Fiedler starting the season at QB (and an already weak armed Chad Pennington coming back after shoulder surgery), Toeverneus, no RT. That's going to painful to watch ...
