August 7, 200323 yr I said he wins and thats what counts. But as a pure QB hes not that good. You have a huge bias towards that. Im nuetral and I can see Fiedler isn't that good of a pure QB. But if he wins who cares? Thats all you can ask of a player is to win. I remember the Packers being 8-1 till we went to the Metrodome. 5-1 is 6 games out of 16, anything under 16 doesnt matter to me. Also to those who want to put up the "well he was on pace for..." I dont care what Fiedler was on pace to put on the stat sheet. Because first off fact is he didn't put it on the sheet. Second off, you can't bank on him playing the same each game. Look at Favre, Brett had 2 games of 3+ INTs, and if you try to say Fiedler is a better QB then Favre you don't deserve to live. Third its all speculation, "ifs", "ands", and "buts". Cuz in the end it aint gonna change a thing.

That's all that matters. He's a clutch QB, and that's really all you can ask from him. Be good when i matters, and he does that.

But Griese is a virus in the locker room and will likely drag some/a lot of your players down with him like in Denver and hes not that smart. Fiedler is a low TD, low YDs, but also importanly though, a low INT guy. Fiedler will do fine if the only thing he has to do is give the ball to Ricky.

Who else would lose their head if you guys don't win it all? I don't know the Coaching Staff. If you guys dont win it all, Fiedler will go. You'll probably see an offensive overhaul built around Griese, Williams, McMichael, & Chambers. Defensively you guys would probably get rid of the old farts... Seau, Tim Bowens, Brock Marion But think of it this way. Any Head Coach besides Wanny is better then Wanny.
August 7, 200323 yr I also want to state this... You guys seem to think you will win the whole kit n koboodle this year. Thats fine. What you guys dont realize is this... Last year up here in Cheeseland, we were so sure and I was one of them that the Packers were going all the way. That over 1000 Wisconsinites had booked flights to San Diego before the season even started. We KNEW the Packers were goin all the way. We knew that the Vince Lombardi trophy was coming home to Lambeau Field where it belongs. We knew it. Not the Rams, not the Eagles, not the Bucs, not the Falcons could tell us otherwise. We knew it. We were gonna win it all. First game of the year, we win hanging on by our fingernails. You guys have that same attitude this year. Thats fine. The same ESPN poll for the fans that favors you guys to win the Super Bowl, 150 thousand fans voted on the poll so far. Last year the Packers were the run away favorites on that same poll with over 225 thousand voters. So I'm just giving you my fair word of warning. The Packers are still considered by some/many as NFC favorites. But the consensus is that the Packers are a very, very good football team. But the furthest they will get is the Conference Championship or Divisional Round. I see the Fins as this years Packers. They made all the right moves in the off season. They were run away favorites to win it all by the fans at the beginning of the season. But something will go wrong for you guys. Last year and I hate using the injury excuse, but the Packers were bit by the injury bug. The Fins I see as the Packers, but it may not be injuries. Possibly a stinky Kick/Punt Return game. Maybe injuries. Maybe a stinky offense besides Williams. FOR SURE smelly play calling by Wanny and Co., but just be warned. That the Packers of last year, the Rams of 2 and 3 years ago, the Vikings and Broncos of 4 years ago. All the heavy favorites to win it all. But one thing went wrong at some point. And though I wish the Dolphins nothing but the best, I am warning you guys. Air on the side of caution. Expect the worst and hope for the best. This isn't like the early '90s when someone could say the Packers, or Cowboys, or Niners would win it all and be right. This is parity. And just remember that the Fins may not live to your expectations. But none the less, fill the stadium and support your team! Because thats something we have done in Green Bay for years! Good luck to the Fins, Bucs, Pack, Rams and everyone else except the Vikings, Bears and Lions. May the best team win.

Something goes wrong for every team at some point. The thing is, you need depth to overcome those injuries. Miami has more than enough of that. BTW: Hank Goldberg on Sports Center last night said Miami has 6:1 odds to win the Super Bowl. He also said the night before that the Bucs had 8:1 odds. These are Vegas odds, not from him. We are the Super Bowl favorites.

They simply can't play together. They don't mesh something you need to build a real champion. If they lose this year it's plain as day, They just can't play together.
