He's Baaaaaack

Alot of respect from me to a man who took the blame, didnt make other accusations against anyone else, worked on building his body up the right way and is now able to succeed in the biggest pressure cooker on Earth, New York.

I hope he has a good rest of the season, just keep the big lumber away when you play the Red Sox..... :mischief

He must have found a new undetectable super steroid of some sort

Naw... he just rediscovered his swing... I mean .250 and .208 the last 2 years from a guy who had 4 straight way above .300 seasons.

I'm rooting for the guy, a fantasy baseball book asked earlier in the year if Giambi would ever be an All-Star again. 11/12 writers said no. I hope he does.

Yea im just being a dick. All he needed was some confidence (and a needle)

ok, just kiding.. not about the confidence part tho

i was just about to make a thread like this...

he has comeback player of the year wrapped up...it's nice to see, the guy is a class act and one of the most fan friendly players in baseball

the past couple months he's looking like the Giambi from 2000-2001

You also noticed how the Yankees started turning it around once he got hot? If he keeps playing like this for the rest of the year, he may make a run at MVP

Im getting more respect for the guy. He is obviously pushing through his struggles, taking the heat from the fans and keeping his mouth shut.

He is letting his play on the field say all that needs to be said.

I have respect for that after a person nearly destroys his own career for cheating.

He deserves a second shot as he is making a clear effort to become his old self minus the enhancement.

Hope he stays true to himself, stories like that are intriguing.

I'm happy to see Giambi doing well, it took a lot of balls to step up and admit the roid use when everyone else was denying and deflecting the accusations.

Ken Griffey Jr.

WTG Giambi I am happy to see him doing good, but some of the awards people are talking about for him are absurd. MVP c'mon i think there are a lot more deserving players. Also im wondering why we are rewarding giambi for playing the right way, isnt that expected, no one gave me credit or rewards when i was in highschool for not cheating. Of course the argument against me has already been mentioned by a numerous amount of users "he had the balls to admit it"
