July 23, 200521 yr That reminds me of the incredible run that Ross Gload had a few years ago... he started in AA and had around 10 or 11 home runs in the first half of the year. He was traded to the Cubs and was promoted to AAA - and had a stretch like that (I think it may have been 17 in 34 games, too). Needless to say, he made his ML debut later in that year.
