July 31, 200521 yr I think Brain Moehler has been heck of a pitcher for us this year. He should have 10-11 wins for us by now, if it was not for the lack of run support earlier this year. He reminds me of Mark Redmon in 2003, an unsung hero, a below the radar guy. Id like to see him back for another year or two. I think we should learn from our Mark Redmon experience, in which we traded him, and now we are trying to get him back, or WERE trying to get him back....I feel the same about Encarnacion, and Damon Easley....What do you guys think about this???
July 31, 200521 yr Well, it's too early to say. But the Reds will probably give him 5 years, 45 million.
July 31, 200521 yr ENC isn't going to return, some team will overpay for him and Hermida should be in RF for us next year anyways.
July 31, 200521 yr Really I would like to see all 3 guys come back next year. Of the three I would least expect Encarnacion to be back, given he will be a FA and Hermida is about ready to be promoted. I'm sure the FO is planning to use Enc's $$$ to help fund Delgado.
July 31, 200521 yr I'm pretty sure Easly will be back, he loves playing here and gets along well with everyone from what I understand. The other two, I'm sure will be greatly overpaid by some team.
July 31, 200521 yr The market for starters in the offseason isn't great. Moehler will be overpayed by someone. Encarnacion won't be here because of a guy named Hermida. Easley is most likely to return. He's proved to be a valuable super utility man.
