July 31, 200521 yr cbs.sportsline: John Riedling, RP FLA News: The Marlins optioned John Riedling to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday to make room for newly-acquired Ron Villone on the roster. Analysis: Riedling will likely be back once rosters expand, but he no longer is worth any Fantasy consideration. sry if posted
July 31, 200521 yr Should have been De Los Santos -- would much rather have Riedling as the mop-up man than Vargas -- and have Vargas available in some more important spots. Lefties are batting .176 against Vargas with a 0.92 WHIP.
July 31, 200521 yr Author Maybe Vargas is back on his way to the rotation with Valdez taking over Riedlings spot as mopup and then VDLS taking over as 2nd lefty..

July 31, 200521 yr Neither one is really an important piece of the bullpen (Riedling vs De los Santos).... But I would have kept Riedling. De los Santos is this year's Manzy. He did great for the first couple of weeks, giving Jack the confidence to go to him.. but he's a journeyman for a reason.
July 31, 200521 yr Vargas in the rotation, Moehler as the long-man. Hey, I can dream, right? 882651[/snapback] I'd make Valdez the long man and leave Moe as a starter personally.
