August 8, 200323 yr Mike has only played third once, and that was for two innings last year.? He's only played four innings in two games at first. He played third in Texas this year. God. We don't need Mike Redmond at 3rd. We have Lowell, Cabrera, Lenny Harris, Mordecai and Fox. Where did this thread get so untwined???? And we don't need our beloved Mike at First. We have the Fox and Mordecai and Banks band-aids. Why has no one answered my question: Why not Ramon Castro as a back-up 1st base???????? Isn't Castro a bit....uh....big-boned to play 1st? I mean, he's no Tommy Tune. see Fielder, Cecil That guy lives near me. I see him at the store sometimes he is huge. When I was younger I met his son Prince, who is now the best 1b prospect in the minors with the brewers.
August 8, 200323 yr Casey Kotchman is the top 1B prospect in the minors. And if I'm not mistaken, Jason Stokes is the second best. I have an autographed '96 World Series Cecil Fielder ball.
August 8, 200323 yr And if I'm not mistaken, Jason Stokes is the second best. I have an autographed '96 World Series Cecil Fielder ball. His stock has dropped...He MIGHT be top 5.
August 8, 200323 yr His stock has dropped...He MIGHT be top 5. Everyone knows his contact deminished because of his wrist. He's getting it all back together.
August 8, 200323 yr Everyone knows his contact deminished because of his wrist. He's getting it all back together. Despite the wrist his stock has still dropped...Your right though this season he has played through discomfort...Arizona Fall league should be a nice chance for Jason to show what hes got.
August 8, 200323 yr Oh well I saw somewhere he was the top rated 1b prospect, but anyways the kid can hit.
