I loathe Mike Lowell, but he actually went the other way for 2 basehits last night, so I'd like to see a follow-up start.

Hey, you gotta still love Mike Lowell, no matter how unproductive he is... It's Mike Lowell.

And is it me, or does anybody else here think Matt Treanor is one of the most solid back-up catchers in the league? I always get excited when I see him get a start. He always makes the most of it.

It's bad enough watching Easley double-clutch every throw from shortstop, third base is a stretch for him. Plus as pointed out above, Lowell (and this is not in his defense) did have two hits yesterday and you know Jack is going to go with the guy again today.

That said, your lineup is a good one, at least for one night.

Lowell has to know he is playing on borrowed time, he either produces or Jack (read Loria) will make a change.

With only fifty games left there is no tomorrow.
