August 19, 200520 yr My HS baseball coach and principal always said I was smarter than my grades showed, this is why I hate doing good on standardized tests, I like being a slacker and it's hard to do if you score high because then people expect more from you. August 19, 200520 yr Just to let you know, as a school counselor who has studied IQ tests, any IQ test that takes less than 2-3 hours to administer and is not in person is completely unreliable.

I just stopped going. I missed 33 days my senior year for skipping most Fridays and school holidays not celebrated (I went to the St. Paddy's Day parade, etc., Ferris Buehler style). It gave me a little grief come graduation because they tried to act like I couldn't, but my grades were still in the A and B range so they couldn't justify any real punishment. I never had to act dumb, though...
