I know. We still won the series against the Cubs. But come on! Can we sweep anybody other than the Devil Rays??? It seems like we have to lose at least one game to the teams that we're playing. :banghead

 

Well, at least we're still in this thing at the moment. But I think at some point this season, we're gonna have to get a sweep against somebody. I don't think there's ever been a team that has made the postseason with only 2 sweeps the ENTIRE season.

it d be nice to get at least a sweep but im pretty happy with 2 out of three. it almost seems like we are afraid to hurt the other team's feelings by sweeping them :lol

I don't know about anyone else but I think I've noticed that among other teams. Whenever they go on a lone winning streak it is folloed by a losing streak. I could be wrong though.

 

I think we're doing the same thing as some of those teams do, just with the losses spread out amongst groups of wins. More consistent. Less streaky. It could work to our advantage, we could cash in that streak we're due at the end of the season so we can overcome everybody and get in the playoffs. :thumbup

I think we only got three sweeps this year.

Losing a game against Zambrano is not a surprise. I want to sweep the mets. That would make me giddy.

I'll enjoy it when we sweep teams in the playoffs...

I sure hope so. We only have 2 sweeps this year (both against Tampa Bay). And it looks like our opportunity to sweep teams is all but over because from here on out, we're gonna face teams either almost certainly playoff bound or competing for the wildcard.

I want to sweep the mets. That would make me giddy.

I agree. They are on one of their stupid "NY IS THE GREATEST PLACE" zones right now and I think we would kill their hopes of being in the Wild Card hunt if we swept them. :chair
