Fishfan79
stranger things have happend. Someone needs to kick this team in the balls and tell them they have 1 month left of the season. It is win or go home.

Lefty
I think it's too late for a spark, but if there was one, it'd be him. I think also Dontrelle's last month will be a big indication of things to come. If he can remain consistent, maybe get a CG or two, then that will surely spark the other starters (like it did about a month ago when all three big guns were hauling as*)

I would not be surprised to see Lowell site more often in favor of Conine/Hermida but thsoe 2 re going to take turns for play time basically. Except for the occasional time they might sit ENC and give Hermida and Conine a chance to start together. I don't see Hermida getting too much playtime though because we have too many outfield options at this point.

Pierre won't sit, even when he has sat he is usually put into the game sometime towards the middle. So I wouldn't count on playtime coming from Pierre. Like I said playtime will come only from sitting Lowell or Enc or Delgado.... Unless Hermida can play 2nd or Short... and if Delgado gets rest it would probably be Conine filling in at first so Lowell would have to be given the same day off for HErmida to play OF... There are not many scenarios where HErmida will get play time... mainly because we have Conine...

Ideally, I'd like to see Hermida start on Friday, if he has an 0'fer, it makes the decision to let Lowell stay a little easier, but if he shines...I don't think the "one AB" mentality will prevail. For me, it's a no brainer to let him start the next game, see how he handles four AB's, and then get to the decision making.

HolycrapIlovetheMarlins
It was a breath of fresh air to see that historic HR after watching the pathetic performance the Fish put on. I am really getting sick of Mikey poping weak balls to the shallow outfield. Lets keep Miggy at third and take our chances. Platoon Niner and Hermida.
