I don't think it's very fun. Too many teams fighting for that WC spot.

It's gonna be tough but i think we'll do it.

Rune will be up in the cheap seats at THe Vet

The LA-CHC game starts at 3:20 PM ET, not 1:20.

i know that :p

1-0 Cubs on a dropped ball at home plate by Lo Duca..... Lofton was out by a mile but Lo Duca dropped the ball.... great relay by the Dodgers OF/INF

and some guy named Misua Kieda or something like that is pitching for the Dodgers, not Ashby

here...

Ooopsy... Call me captain redundant. Didn't see your existing post Ramp.

Anyway, Cubs 1-0 over Dodgers in 1st.

I don't know about y'all but I'm pulling for the Cubs in this series. I don't think there's any way that two of these central teams are going to pull far enough ahead to get the WC. Especially considering all the games they play against each other in September.

Plus, I like the Cubs more anyway.

I think the Dodgers are a bigger threat than Cubs so I want the cubs to win

I think the Dodgers are a bigger treat than Cubs

:lol :lol :lol

:lol :lol :lol

why is this funny? The Dodgers probably wont beat out SF for the division but they have a good shot for the Wild Card. The Cubs beat Houston and I dont think they will win the Wild Card. Its just my opinion so dont start talking BS.

No I was laughing because you said treat. You need to chill out.

yea, the Dodgers are a treat

Sosa drove in another run for the Cubs in the 5th.

Dodgers 0 Cubs 2 - Top of the 8th

rbi single by Lo Duca, 2-1 Cubs

1st and 3rd, 1 out...

man Lo Duca is real good(or maybe he is clutch :o )

so here we go, Shawn Green is the batter.....

1st and 3rd, 1 out.....

pops out to 2B... pathetic, 2 outs

Jeromy Burnitz is the batter now.....

Dodgers down a run in the 8th, runners on the corners, 2 outs.....

behind 0-2, crowd on its feet.....

strikes out swinging on some high cheese

2-1 cubs, bottom 8

1.5 in the books from the Vet. 5-0 Phils.

Starting the bottom of the third now in Phillie with Pat "The Bat" Burrell batting, still 5-0. Woody Williams has appeared to have settled down, lets hope the Cards light up Vicente Paudilla.

In other news, Pujols has extended his hitting streak to 29 games with a single in the first (just noticed).

5 runs is nothing for the Cardinals.

Three in the books, same 5-0 score. Anyone else smell an STL backlash coming soon?
