September 20, 200521 yr wow - for a 162 games, these seasons seem to disapear when you need them most ... i read that snipet this morning and it threw me off tough road ahead ... need to make up 2 games against the stros and 1 against the phillies being 6 out of the division, that dream is over and we really need the braves to beat up on the phillies ... hopefully the braves will be looking to rest a couple guys by the final game against the marlins the pirates did a huge favor by beating clemens, but it is so hard to rely on teams like the pirates .. brings the last astros series and the bullpen woes against philly into perspective ... the marlins could control their destiny, but now have to handle their business and hope the mets are streaky, but the marlins are in miami, the fans need to come out and support this squad ... give them a lift ... a sweep is darn near vital hard to believe this season is possibly down to 12 games ... i don't want it to end and have faith the marlins will be playing well into october go FISH!!!! *clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap**clap*

You can't just throw out that possibility. If we take 5 of 6 (possible) from ATL, that means we just have to make up 2 games elswhere. Regardless, if the Marlins have the division mentality then they'll probably get the WC anyway.

We would be much better having Burnett pitch to contact than try to run up his strike out total.
