November 14, 200520 yr OK I'm going to exercise humility. Great game, Tampa Bay. Could have easily gone either way but y'all pulled it out.

November 14, 200520 yr Author YES! Just got back from the Dixie Chicken, what a blast that game was...Im so hoarse now. Simms is 50 times better then he was in theat 9ers game, his progression in just three games is remarkable. They have had some ups and downs this year, but that was definitely the highest of the highs so far this year. As far as our playoff chances go, that was an absolute huge win. The Bears game, both Saints games, and the Falcons at home are the games we need to have a chance to win in if we want to get back to the playoffs. Wow, what a game. And I guess the good karma I started at the beginning of this thread worked?
November 14, 200520 yr everyone wants a piece of my man shaun ... just few can grab him (btw, this is nothing unusual .... SA has been very good for a while now ... 5 straight years over 1,000 yards and 15 TDs) now all that is left is for ruskell to lock him up long term and set the foundation for the league's #1 offense to be churning for the next 3-5 years
November 14, 200520 yr Author I cant believe you guys only gave that freak of nature a one year deal.
November 14, 200520 yr Cedric Benson out 3-6 weeks with a sprained MCL... how the hell he didn't tear anything is beyond me.
November 14, 200520 yr a deal will get done ... last year was a pretty bad offseason for pure # of FAs ... they managed to get walter jones and hasselbeck locked up, just couldn't get SA done before the free agency period so they had to tag him he signed a 1 year deal after the tag with some stipulations in there (mainly that he can't get franchised again) last year was a crazy market for RBs and a big RB draft class ... it was hard to set the market I don't think the hawks want to go above $6M and I don't think SA wants to go under $6M ... also length is an issue as he is approaching 30 both sides have been very active in negotiations lately and are very upbeat this will probably get done for 4 years at around 6.3 per that will leave the entire offense in tact going into next season (with only hutch coming up for FA, he'll get the tag) .... they will need to look at getting another top flight WR (although depth at that position is good right now), but the OL is deep, TE is deep, RB is deep, FB is deep that will allow them to continue to rework the D I think this is the most excited about the future of that team in 20+ years
November 15, 200520 yr hopefully Ben will be back by then Ben . . . yea . . . *Takes out shot gun,* so where has he been resting for the past coupleof days, I want to have some nice football chatter with him :evil . . . err ... I mean ...
